In a world filled with craziness and uncertainty, I look at this photo with the signs to fictional destinations and think to myself, I wonder how life would be today at Cinderella's Castle, or in the Shire? There's something to be said about being self-isolated. I don't have to put on make-up, ...

Marry Me in March Micro Weddings

Mar 1, 2020 – Mar 31, 2020

There's a playfulness in nature, especially in the mountain area of East Tennessee. Mother Nature is somewhat mischievous and loves to keep us guessing. This is a gorgeous venue. Google the name, don't use the address for directions. Follow the signs into the ground, because it's not so easy to find. This is a gorgeous place in the foothills of the Smoky mountains. The staff are very helpful, and they have golf carts to help those who can't walk well into the Glen.

My best friend had her wedding here last weekend. It is BEAUTIFUL! The staff is wonderful. Her coordinator was so awesome! The cabin the bride's party was getting ready in is so adorable. We had a great time. I would recommend anyone looking for a beautiful place to have your dream wedding to call them. You will not be disappointed. Beautiful is not a good enough word.

My husband and I were married April 4, 2019 and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding! It was difficult planning a wedding from Virginia, but Lesley made sure everything ran smoothly for our small family wedding, even to helping coordinate my dad (a pastor) performing the ceremony. The pergola was beautifully decorated and our guests were well taken care of. Definitely recommend!!!

Southern charm at its best

A southern wedding…transcending time and dimension—charming, romantic and uniquely your own; the beginning of your happily ever should be a magical moment to be remembered forever and captured in the windows of your soul. Our wedding venue, located in the Great Smoky Mountains makes for a perfect destination for out of state brides as well as for last minute elopements. Sampson's Hollow is an event facility that will provide the storybook location for any special event or gathering.  Recently named as a 2019 Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice winner and The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2019, the naturally landscaped farmland has been in the family since the mid 1800’s.  It was recently recognized by the state of Tennessee as an historic Century-old farm.  Located next to Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee and fifteen minutes from the entrance to the national park, Sampson’s Hollow is easily accessible while still maintaining the privacy and seclusion which most guests desire.  In the event of bad weather, the porch of our contemporary barn will seat approximately 175 guests on a covered front porch, accented by a lighted chandelier in the center of the elevated roof and a full view of the beauty of the property.  Our newly constructed Foundry will seat an additional 40 guests with a majestic view to enjoy. The interior of the barn will seat up to 100 guests, depending on use of space.  Features include air-conditioning, a wood burning fireplace, upstairs loft for changing, three restrooms, a small kitchen and a handicap –accessible entrance. A sweetly adorned cabin provides a dressing suite for the bride and her attendants as well as a romantic beginning for the first night as husband and wife. Please visit our website at www.sampsonshollow.com for more information and click on our links to Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube to see photos and a virtual tour of the property.
